The first course to open in the Punta Cana area, The Lakes Barceló Golf Course opened in 1991 at the Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort. This Juan Manuel Gordillo design was redesigned by Pete B. Dye in 2010 to boost its challenge while retaining its character. Crossing through a lush mangrove forest with 25 inland lakes, 122 bunkers punctuate and protect the course’s sculpted fairways, some incorporating Dye’s trademark railroad ties.

Los rough un poco altos hicieron complicado la vuelta. Considerando tiene mucha agua, esa es una dificultad que evitaría agregar.
